Compass Corona 2005 Caravan Collection |
|
Despite the entry-level price of the Corona, there are many features normally reserved for more expensive touring caravans. From the striking interior design and use of space to thoughtful external touches, the Corona range offers a high level of practicality at superb value for money. With famous name equipment fitted as standard and the range of optional extras available, Corona is a very affordable and ideal starter touring caravan.
The new Compass Corona range for 2005 has been given a dramatic modern facelift with the introduction of the Omega style body shell. The one piece 3/4 height front GRP and full height ABS back panel give this budget touring caravan a truly upmarket look and feel.
The stylish new look is further enhanced by the clean fresh Compass family blue and green CGI graphics.
Caraluna II light clusters and a high level brake light add to visibility and safety whilst towing, and bring the Corona fully up to date with the rest of the Compass range.
The new Compass Corona benefits from stainless steel front and rear steel grab handles, aluminium side skirts, and the all new black edged Polyplastic 4.28 series windows to complete a sophisticated new look.
The Winterhoff WS3000 stabiliser is now standard fit. This stabiliser has been proven under severe high speed stability testing and suits all towing vehicles including 4x4s with a rear spare wheel carrier.

A key feature of the Compass Corona interior is the new Capiro Araco gold and blue sprung upholstery by Belfield furnishings and the newly designed Toronto Maple furniture. Both combine to give a truly upmarket feel to an entry level touring caravan.
All of this is offset with scatter cushions and coordinating gold curtains and tie backs. Fitted 'Stainaway' twist carpets complete the Corona's elegant colour scheme.
A new Nemplas twin track curtain rail allows for better curtain movement and the addition of customers own secondary voiles. New Paris wall board to washroom areas and the new Reich Trend faucets, new design BCA mains wall lights and a new Seitz Midi-Heki skylight with a modern pleated blind are the finishing touches to a stunning redesigned range.
Set into the new Burdur hard wearing laminated worktops, the popular Argente stainless steel linen effect, scratch resistant sink, hob and drainer remain and come complete with a bespoke, matching silver washing up bowl. Chinchilla glass hob and sink covers double as chopping boards and add to the overall styling. The blue theme is continued with blue-grey and silver coloured glass oven and grill fronts.
Also introduced for the first time is the new Thetford N80P 80ltr refrigerator with two storage racks, two door bins and a vegetable bin. The storage racks are provided with click-and-slide plastic strips and retainers to secure products while driving. The freezer compartment reaches a temperature of -12°C at +25°C ambient temperature when operated on 230V AC and is therefore appropriate to store frozen foods and make ice-cubes.
